IMDB links update

Just to add an update to my previous post about adding links to Lovefilm and Tesco DVD Rental – my script now adds a link on a dvd’s profile to its IMDB profile, so you can find out all sorts of details before renting. It also can now distinguish between films of the same name, such as King Kong 1933 (good) and King Kong 2005 (atrocious). See the original post for download links.
Inserting IMDB Ratings in Lovefilm and Tesco DVD Rental

This evening I cooked up a couple of Greasemonkey scripts to insert IMDB user ratings into Tesco DVD Rental (I just started a 3 month free trial) and its parent service, Lovefilm. The idea is that you can get a second opinon on how good a film is before you rent it – I know these sites have their own user ratings, but IMDB.com is the biggest film site in the world, and I’m so used now to getting its opinions when using my Films on Freeview website (more on that at a later date).
